A little while ago, I entered a giveaway for a fall photo shoot and won! I was so happy because we had just done family pictures right before Coy was born, but I also wanted some with Coy in them. It was perfect timing and meant to be.
Rachel from Rachel Sisneros Photography was so fun to work with.
She was so patient with our kids and made us feel so comfortable.
It's quite comical trying to get everyone looking and smiling at the same time when you have a newborn with a fussy tummy and two toddlers. Rachel was able to capture some really sweet moments of our family.
Matt and I are pretty busy these days. Right after Coy was born, Matt started a new job at Vivint and has been working full time while going to school. He really likes his job and is killing the sales floor. The only downfall is that he has the 6am shift and has to work sundays, but it's nice because he is able to go to school as well and be home at a decent hour in the evening.
He has also started training at an MMA fighting gym and LOVES it. I don't really understand it because he comes home and tells me how he almost got knocked out or how he was kicked square in the face, but somehow it's fun for him haha.
I've just been busy taking care of three kids and trying to run a household. I say trying because I swear no matter how much I clean or how much laundry I do, it is never done. I've also started a little side business selling LipSense (a lipstick that lasts up to 18 hours, doesn't smudge or budge, is waterproof, and basically magic in a tube). It has been so fun for me to have a little hobby that is just mine. I love makeup and I LOVE all these products so sharing it with people has been amazing. Brooks is our BIG three year old. People always think that he is 5 and are so surprised to hear he's only three. He is the funniest little thing and doesn't miss a beat. He started preschool this fall and loves it. He is learning to write his name and other letters and is doing so well. Brooks LOVES cosmo (Coy) and is such a big helper. He loves to hold and cuddle Coy and always brings me diapers, wipes, blankets, etc. He's a great big brother.
Remi Jayne is our sassy little two year old. She turned two in October and had a swimming/mermaid party. She is starting to talk a lot more and is very opinionated. She LOVES her baby, blanky, binky, and baby accessories. They all must come with us wherever we go. She is a little sponge and learns very quickly. She loves to do puzzles, play-dough, and paint. She is a bit of a drama queen but we love her just the same.
Coy Maverick is the sweetest little almost 2 month old. He really is a dream baby. He smiles all the time and loves to be told that he is handsome. He only wakes up once a night and for the most part it pretty chill. He does hate the car so that's not the funnest thing, but hopefully that will pass. He is the perfect little edition to our family.
As a family, we are so blessed. This period in our life is so crazy and busy and a lot of the times I feel like we do not have our crap together, but I wouldn't change it. I love our little people and I love the adventures that we have. I can't imagine anything different.
