why and when did you start blogging?

i began blogging on April 28, 2010.

april 6, 2010.. the night before matt left

i decided to start a blog shortly after my love had left me for two years to serve a mission for the LDS church.

i had been stalking peoples blogs for quite sometime and i decided i wanted to take part in this online journal word vomit.

it started as a way to pass time, and it has evolved into a journal keeping/daily life recording blog of sorts.  i have made new friends, connected with old ones, and hope to continue to make new ones.

also, since google is doing away with reader and gfc, i have joined bloglovin'

2011

it's been a good year...

january brought crazy walmart adventures.

and

starting the elementary ed program

in february we had impromtu sledding

and

girls night up at the gateway

in march came first student teaching experience

and

a whole lot of mustaches

in april we celebrated matt's one year mark

and

headed to st.george/vegas for a spring break getaway

in may i met my brand new baby niece

ended a five year reign at the preschool

and

traveled to phoenix with the parents.

 

in june i began my short lived foreign love affair

and

went on a family vacation to newport beach.

july brought a plethora of dr. pepper slushies.

may they r.i.p

cuz they are no longer available :(

and

lake powell with the family.

august we lived it up in vegas where the term "toptional" was coined

and

another new baby niece was born

in september i turned 24.

and

monte carlo night happened.

october brought my brother home

2nd annual pumpkin party

and

a quick trip to texas to visit family and attend the byu game.

 

in november i attended my best friends wedding

and

traveled to california for thanksgiving.

and

december

brought lots of time with people i love.

 

2011 has been a good year.
so long, farewell.

 

here's to {2012}

it is going to be MY year.

to say that i'm stoked would be a giant understatement.

happy new years.

I NEED YOUR HELP.

so....

i took midol today for the first and last time ever.

and it sucked.

it did nothing for me.

i never used to get cramps, so its new to me.

now i get them always and its not my favorite.

today.

my heart hurts a little.

our lives our completely different now and i have accepted that.

but that doesn't mean i can't feel sad for losing a friend.

and then it just makes me miss my own love all the more.

firsts.and.lasts.

first

institute dance ever.

quite the experience.

went with this lady

who was supposed to be on a date with some guy (at the dance mind you)

but i came to make the already awkward just a little more awkward.

we created our own fun of course.

we creeped close to people and took pictures so it looked like we were part of their group.

like so...

we took pictures with our former institute teacher without him knowing.



took pictures of our feet...naturally

and danced the night away

the best part was most definitely the people watching.

there are some WINNERS.

my first institute dance will also be my last. haha
