baby shower #1.

some of my sister in laws threw me a family baby shower this weekend.

they went above and beyond making everything so cute.

baby B was definitely spoiled.

opening presents.

cutest baby A.

more decorations and fruit pizza bar. yum!

they also had wooden blocks for each guest to paint, so that baby B will have his first set of blocks.

it was such a cute, fun idea!!

i will post pictures of them at a later date.

i can't wait to meet baby boy and put him in all of his cute little outfits.

my current pregnant food cravings are as follows...

cereal.

i ate it for every single meal yesterday.

otterpops.

bought a box when i was grocery shopping this week.

fruit.

any and all kinds. yum!

frozen yogurt/ice cream.

i want this every day.

describe your location.

over the weekend my location took my down south on a quick, warm, getaway.

mesquite, nevada.

the sun was shining.

the swimsuits were on.

palm trees swaying.

the food was eaten.

good times were had.

and

i finally saw safe haven.  i must say, i liked the movie but it was SO different from the book that it made me annoyed while watching.

and i only took three pictures on my phone to document this joyful occasion.

i really need to get better at using my camera.

describe your most embarrassing moment.

scheduling an incomplete post is quite embarrassing.

truth be told, i don't find myself getting embarrassed that often.  i had to ask matt and my friends what my most embarrassing moment was... and they weren't much help.

the only thing i could come up with was one time i was buying a questionable item with a friend.
we carefully selected a store that we thought we were least likely to run into people we knew.
riteaid.
we went in, grabbed the item, and began to walk up to the register, when who should walk through the front doors?!
oh just my mother and sister.
i swear to you i've never seen my mom go to riteaid.
we were both so awkward we literally ran away laughing like five year olds and threw the questionable item down a random isle.
it wasn't so much embarrassing, but awkward as crap.

playing the situation over year later, we made ourselves seem way more suspicious by the way we acted.  they probably wouldn't have even noticed what we had in hand, and we definitely could have had a good explanation.
but no, we chose to scream and run away.
good times, good times.

hobbies.

do you have any hobbies?

i used to scrapbook a lot.

i would still like to, but i just can't seem to find the time.

reading is always a favorite hobby of mine.

and shopping, who doesn't love that?

home alone.

i truly love that movie, home alone.

i can quote the whole thing...just ask my husband.

be lazy

my biggest secret is this....

half hour before the husband comes home, i hurry and clean the house.

haha seriously though, and then he's all proud because he thinks i've been cleaning all day.

what is something you collect?

in junior high i collected ring pops and elephants.

i won this print from Brielle at Studio Eleven

and i plan on putting it in baby boy's nursery :)

in high school i started my sunglasses collection and leaving the sticker on my sunglasses.

elephants are the only real collection that i have stuck with.

what is your biggest fear?

my greatest fear was that i wouldn't be able to have children.  from as long as i can remember, i have wanted to be a mother.  i love children so much, that i have always had this fear that because i want my own so badly, i wouldn't be able to have them.

and then i got pregnant on my honeymoon.

fear gone.

matt and i have been watching law&order SVU

my fear of being raped, abducted, or beat up has significantly increased.

i also have a fear of receiving an awful phone call.

the kind that tell you someone you love has died unexpectedly.

those are my greatest fears.

list 5 blogs you read on a regular basis and why?

i pretty much look at all the blogs on my blog roll whenever i find some time to sit and do so.

why?

because it is a great time killer/waster.

and lots of those people are my friends.

that's why.

but more importantly, last friday i gained a nephew

april 6, 2010.. the night before matt left

i decided to start a blog shortly after my love had left me for two years to serve a mission for the LDS church.

i had been stalking peoples blogs for quite sometime and i decided i wanted to take part in this online journal word vomit.

it started as a way to pass time, and it has evolved into a journal keeping/daily life recording blog of sorts.  i have made new friends, connected with old ones, and hope to continue to make new ones.

also, since google is doing away with reader and gfc, i have joined bloglovin'
